Dr. Saritha D’Souza, Head of the Post-Graduation Department of Criminology and Forensic Science of the College was the Resource Person in a National Conference on ‘Evidence: ResIpsa Loquitur’ (The things speaks for itself) organised by the Department of Forensic Science in collaboration with the department of Forensic Medicine of Srinivas Medical College, Mukka, Surathkal held on the 3 rd of December 2019.

She spoke on the ‘Role of Forensic Science in the Investigation of Crime’, stating the importance of clue materials found in the crime scene and the adoption of appropriate methods for its collection and preservation. Forensic experts of various divisions, Doctors from Forensic Medicine departments, Lawyers, Students from Criminology and Forensic Science department of various colleges in and around the states were present on this occasion.
