Psy Forum is a body comprising of the faculty and students of Psychology. It was founded in the year 1999 and ever since it has been functional to fulfill the following objectives.
- To gain insight into the subject matter of Psychology and it’s recent findings.
- To acquire interpersonal skills for effective communication and interaction,
- To develop one’s personality through group dynamics.
The Psy Forum organizes field visits to mental health centres, kindergartens, old age homes etc, arranges guest lectures on emerging trends in Psychology. Posters and interesting articles are displayed on the notice board. Documentaries and movies with psychological themes are screened and later reviewed. Competitions such as quiz, skits, and role plays are organized by the Psy Forum.
