The UG students of the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, organized an Iftar on 19th March 2025 to foster unity, inclusivity, and communal harmony among students and staff. Iftar, a meal to break the fast-during Ramadan, symbolizes togetherness, gratitude, and mutual respect.

The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of 350 students and staff, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and cultural harmony within the college. The large gathering provided a platform for individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together, share a meal, and engage in meaningful conversations beyond academic settings.

Sharing a meal strengthens bonds, promotes cultural understanding, and nurtures a sense of belonging. This Iftar gathering created a warm and welcoming environment, where students and faculty connected, exchanged thoughts, and celebrated the values of empathy and inclusivity. The active participation of such a large number of attendees highlighted the importance of togetherness and reinforced the college’s commitment to fostering unity and respect among its members.
