The Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science had organized a session on “Frisking Method and Safety Measures in Security System” for the First year MSc CFS Students on 2nd February 2022. Mr. Balajinarayan B., Junior Scientific Analyst
Forensic Science Laboratory, Puducherry. He discussed about the concept of frisking, methods adopted for frisking used on men, women and various types of vehicles. He spoke about the purpose of frisking in terms of security service and methods need to be adopted during security management in various organizations based on different situation and emergencies.
Further, session was also held for the second year students of Questioned Documents and Impression Evidence Specialization on “Photography of Questioned Documents” on 11th February 2022. He addressed the students about the working principles of cameras, types of photography and the procedure to be followed to take a photograph of a questioned documents both in a crime scene as well as during examination of the documents. He spoke about the importance of Photographing Questioned Documents, its evidentiary value, advantages and disadvantages. There was an interaction and demo shown on various types of photographs of questioned documents through videos, presentation and practical exposure.
