Forensis Forum of the Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science in association with Anti-Human Trafficking Club (AHTC), School of Social Work, Mangaluru organized a ‘Poster Making Competition’ on 9th September 2022 at 2:30 pm for the second year students of the department.
The theme for the competition was ‘Anti-Human Trafficking ‘given on the spot. The main objective of the competition is to create awareness about the issues relevant to Human trafficking, its impact on the society and pool the idea for the prevention of Human Trafficking. For the competition, the students were divided into pairs. They were given one and half hour time to complete the chart of which 20 minutes were given to procure ideas for the topic. The charts were assessed based on creativity, pictorial representation of the topic, poster relevant to the theme and neatness.
The first place is bagged by Group No. 1. Ms. Siri Kamath and Ms. Kavya and the second place is won by Group No. 5. Ms. Priyanka and Ms. Chandini. The jury panel for the competition were Ms. Ancilla, Librarian of the college and Mr. Roshan D’Souza, Assistant Professor of the Department. The competition concluded at 4:30 pm. Under the guidance of Ms. Bindiya T. Faculty Coordinator of Forensic Forum, the office bearers of Forensis Forum second year students of Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science, Ms. Matcha Aarathi, President, Ms. Likhitha V. K. Secretory, and Ms. Santhi Anusha, Treasurer took an initiative to organize the event successfully. Altogether, 19 students and 4 faculties were present on this occasion.
