LIT Meet Events

The Department of English in collaboration with the IQAC, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, organized a guest lecture on the text, The Importance of Being Earnest. The talk was organized on 19^th October, 2024 at 11: 45 a.m. in room number 001. It aimed at looking at the play from multiple perspectives, keeping in mind the Victorian context. The speaker touched on various nuances that makes the play relevant to the contemporary times as well. The talk was well received by the students of English Major.

The talk started with Mr Manuel Souza, Department of English, introducing the guest and then expressing his gratitude and making his concluding remarks. The talk was attended by 18 students of English Major.
