On February 21, 2025, the SAHAYOG Forum of the BSW Department, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, conducted an Extension Service Programme—An awareness session on protection and security in situations of violence, crime, and accidents. The objective of the programme is to enhance children's awareness of safety measures and equip them with basic knowledge on self-protection and emergency response in cases of violence, crime, and accidents. The program aimed to educate and equip 112 primary and higher primary students of St. Mary’s Kannada Medium School with essential safety measures and response strategies. The session, held at 2:00 PM, was led by Mrs. Prameela (Social Worker) as the resource person. The event was coordinated by Mr. Albristo Saji (I BSW) and Ms. Shreya (II BSW) under the guidance of Field Supervisor Mrs. Anusuya Kamath, Assistant Professor, BSW Department, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore.
