NSS unit of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru celebrated World Environment Day 2021. World Environment Day has given our NSS volunteers an opportunity to widen their vision, attitudes and commitments in the area of environmental preservation and enhancement. NSS unit of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya organised the following programme as part of the World Environment Day On June 5, 2021.

Grow your own forest: As a part of this programme the volunteers planted one sapling each at their home which inspires and encourages them to plant more saplings in and around their communities and being a part of greener earth.

Seed you Sow: As a part of this programme the volunteers would collect as many seeds as possible for a week which will help them to build and manage a sustainable ecosystem for future generations.

Online quiz was conducted for the volunteers to create awareness towards improving the environment in which they live.
