The BSW Department observed World Social Work Day 2024 from March 19th to 25th, 2024, with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty. As part of the celebrations, a footwear collection drive was organized, and a total of 25 bags of old footwear were collected and donated to Vana Charitable Trust for reuse and recycling. This initiative, titled 'Hejje', aimed to promote sustainability and support marginalized communities. The department's efforts exemplified the true spirit of social work, demonstrating commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
