Kannada department, School of Social Work conducted an obituary service for Dr.Girish Karnad,Jnanapeta Awardee on 11/06/2019 at the college auditorium. Asst.Prof.Mr.Obanath Head of the Dept.of Kannada spoke about Karnad’s life and his contribution towards literature. Prof.Shobhana Head of the Dept.of English displayed a video on Dr.Girish Karnad.Ms.Juliet C.J the Principal,Prof.Vineeta Rai registrar (Evaluation) and all the faculty and students were present for the service.
