Faculty Achievements

Dr. Saritha D’Souza, Head of the Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science, School of Social Work, Mangaluru was co-guide for two Research Scholars of Srinivas University, Mukka, Surathkal Mangaluru who were awarded with PhD in Forensic Science on 28 August 2023. Devaseelan S submitted his thesis on ‘PRINTED DOCUMENT EXAMINATION: A FORENSIC ANALYSIS USING RAMAN SPECTROSCOPY & STEREO-MICROSCOPE’ and Swathi D. defended her thesis on “A STUDY ON FACTORS AFFECTING THE HANDWRTTING OF AN INDTVIDUAL”. The two thesis have been accepted for the award of Doctor of Philosophy in Forensic Science after the public Viva Voce examination held on 16th August 2023 at Srinivas University, Mangaluru. These two scholars were successfully guided in the field related concepts, methods, data analysis and report writing.
