Achievements

Ms. Tanushri shetty of III BA participated in a Media conference on Role of youth in curbing fake news held on 13th February 2021 from 10:30 PM to 12:00 PM.

The conference was held to understand the views and opinions of different youth panelists from all over India. The program began with a brief introduction of fake news in India by Mr.Lal Goel, Chairman Organ donation India foundation and GYAN. He spoke on the various challenges that fake news brings about in the country and how youth could prevent such situations from arising. Then it was the turn of the seven youth delegates to give their opinion on Role of the youth in curbing The program was then followed by a speech by the chief guest Mr Ajeet kulshrestha, Former additional Director general CRPF, fake news and the contribution each could make. After all the seven delegates put forth their views ,the chief guest Mr ajeet Kulshrestha gave his feedback regarding the views that were put forth by the delegates. The session ended with the note of how youth could be a crucial answer to curb fake news in India.
