Specialization: Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PM&IR)
Workers in various settings are plagued with a multitude of issues that sometimes interfere with their effectiveness and overall productivity of the organization. Social workers' abilities and experience can be used to boost employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness. Students who have received training in PM&IR are assisting organizations in creating healthy and prosperous communities.
Our PM&IR students are put in professionally run business organizations to complete their concurrent fieldwork, in which they are exposed to all functional areas as well as day-to-day problems, during their academic studies. Another benefit is the deep alumni network and connections with alumni. All of this helps to prepare our students for careers in HR and organizational leadership.
After post-graduation, our PM&IR-trained students are working in both conventional as well as emerging functional areas of human resource management. Workplace equality, work-life balance, diversity and inclusion, workplace culture, sexual harassment, data breaches, recruiting and onboarding, team building, and corporate social responsibility are a few of the areas they work in.
