Department of MSc Counselling, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya Mangalore, organized a two days virtual workshop on ‘Marriage and Family Dynamics’ on 10th and 12th April, 2021. The participants were 22 students of the M.sc counseling department. It was a 5 hours workshop designed to prepare the post graduate students to work with couples in their clinical practices. The modules comprised of family life cycle stages which is primary content of Human development, patterns of communication, decision making, and various common issues of married couples, and families. The modes of instruction of each day were research-based presentations with videos and clinical case discussions. The facilitator of the workshop was Dr. Prince CJ, consultant of the Prajodana counselling centre, New Delhi. The workshop was greatly appreciated by the participants and many expressed that it was very interesting, interactive and a remarkable learning experience.
