On 13th November, 2024, An interactive session was conducted by the 2nd MSc Counselling students and Ms. Thani Anwar, Assistant Professor from the Counselling Department, for visiting Italian students – Ms Francesca Conte and Ms Loyanne Pioggia from the University of International Studies of Rome. The session served as an icebreaker and a platform for mutual introductions and sharing experiences.
The students and faculty got acquainted with each other by sharing insights into their respective departments, placements, and the role of the Manah Swasthya Counselling unit. The key discussions included the extension programs and fieldwork supervision, highlighting the practical training and real-world exposure students receive in counselling. The session showcased how in-campus learning is enriched through these programs, complemented by active participation in extracurricular activities aimed at promoting awareness. An interesting exercise marked the end of the session.
