Holistic Well Being (Counselling) Forum Events

A session was conducted by Ms. Jennifer Carlo, Assistant professor, Department of M.Sc. Counselling, on counselling skills for on 12th January, 13th January and 18th January 2022 respectively for the final BSW students of School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya Mangaluru. The topics covered during the session were concept of counselling, simple guidance n counselling techniques, and General characteristics of an effective counsellor. The objective of the session was to help the students understand need of counselling and the skills involved in it. Towards the end of the session students expressed that they learnt skills and also saw ways to apply the same in their field in helping profession.
