Holistic Well Being (Counselling) Forum Events

Students of 2nd MSc Counselling Kaveri K S and Jyothi B Kanade, from School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, delivered a lecture on “Youth and Mental Health” for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year B. Com students of Sri Gokarnanatheshwara College of Education, Gandhinagar, Mangalore. The program was conducted by the ‘Internal Quality Assessment Cell’ and ‘Humanities Association’ under ‘National Service Scheme’ of Sri Gokarnanatheshwara College of Education. The session was conducted on 22/03/2022 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM with the participation of 100 under-graduation students. The objective of the lecture was to create awareness on Mental Health, Stress Management and Improving Mental Well-being. Students were happy to get inputs on stress management while their exams nearing by. Happiness and enhancing happiness through improving mental health of students were also addressed by the facilitators.
