Mr. Chongtham Odessey Singh Coordinator, Disaster Management Cell, School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya with the team presented the report of the Relief Intervention (14th August – 7th September, 2019) which included the Relief Material Collection Drive at Roshni Nilaya and other flood relief activities at Lolasur Panchayat, Gokak Taluk, Belagavi at 4.30 pm on 18th September, 2019 at Maria Paiva Hall, School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya.

All the donors who have donated relief materials and those who have contributed financially to support the intervention were also invited. Statement of Accounts was presented by Mr. Balaji Narayan, Assistant Professor, Msc. CFS Department, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, who was the Faculty – In - Charge for Accounts during this Intervention. At this occasion, a new office of Disaster Management Cell was also inaugurated by the former Principal Dr. Jecinta D’ Souza. Statements of Account and Cash Book (Original Bills and Vouchers are submitted to the college Accounts Department) is being published along with this report for the public. It is an attempt to promote transparency and accountability. The balance amount of Rs.13, 630 only (out of Rs.66, 500 which was raised) will be credited in the bank account of Extension Services as reserved fund for Disaster Management Cell, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya for future use.
