The Student Council 2022-2023 was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Juliet C. J, Vice principal Dr. Jenis Mary, Secretary of the Institute of Social Service Prof. Evelyn Benis, Welfare Officer of MSW Ms. Jinsa Joseph, Welfare officer of M.Sc Criminology and Forensic department Mr. Roshan D’Souza, and the welfare officer of the M.Sc Counseling department Dr. Wilsy Francis on 28th September, 2022 at the College auditorium. To mark the importance of the existence of the student council and their responsibilities, this event was followed by lighting of the lamp and the Oath Taking Ceremony by the welfare officers of the three PG departments and the newly elected Student Council.

Dr. Juliet CJ, Principal delivered the presidential address wherein she emphasised the importance of leadership and the role of leader in creating a harmonious relationship which promotes a team work with total commitment and dedication. Ms. Jinsa Joseph the welfare officer of the MSW department spoke about the significance of student council and its objectives and Dr. Wilsy Francis introduced the members of the Student Council to the student body; followed by the assurance speech of the newly elected PG Convenor Ms. Devika. In her speech Ms. Devika expressed her gratitude for the trust and faith the student body conferred on her and promised to do her best for developing commitment in every student to reach educational growth and development. The program ended with vote of thanks by General Secretary Ms. Sandra Prince.
