The  Faculty and Student volunteers of (Disaster Management Cell),  School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya along with Staff Volunteers of Deeksha Trust, Dharwad distributed relief materials collected at School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya to 118 flood affected  families (which represented the entire village) of Singlapur Bangle village of Gokak Taluk, Belgaum. 54 families had lost their houses during the flood. These families were given a special package of relief materials.

The distribution started at 7 pm on 3 September 2019 at Anganwadi Centre of Singlapur Bangle Village. The families who benefitted from this effort expressed their gratitude and blessings by colorful thumb signatures on a chart paper for the donors and all those who have contributed to make this effort a success.
