Crimino-Vision Events

On the occasion of Crime Prevention Month, Department of Criminology, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya in collaboration with Mangaluru City Police and Biker Saviours Bengaluru organised a Bike Rally and Walkathon to bring in Drug Abuse Awareness on the 17 th of December 2020. The rally was flagged off by Mr.Vikash Kumar Vikhash, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru City along with Shri Hariram Shankar, IPS, DCP, ( Law and Order) and Shri Vinay A.Gaonkar, KSPS, DCP ( Crima and Traffic).

The rally commenced from Clock tower, Hampankatta and concluded at the same point.The event was held to bring in awareness about Drug Abuse among the Youth.

Assistant commissioners, Inspectors,Sub-inspectors,Head constables,Constables, Police trainees, Representatives of Biker Saviours Bengaluru led by the Organiser Mr. Vaibhav Chandra Shekhar and Students of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya led by Assistant Professor Ms.Sarik Ankitha, the Principal Dr. Juliet C.J and Ex- Principal Dr. Jacintha D'Soyza were part of this Awareness Rally.

There were 350 participants in this event.Students and Police Personnel were marching along with pluck cards with the slogans creating awareness among General Public about Drug Abuse.
