The Department of Criminology organized a ‘Forensic Science Exhibition’ for undergraduate students of St. Agnes College, Mangaluru on 31st January 2019. The students were exposed to different sections of the Forensic Science Laboratory. They were given practical exposure on Fingerprints and Crime Scene investigation like inspection, sketching, reconstruction and handling of different evidence found in the Crime Scene. Practical demonstration on recording, developing and lifting of fingerprints from the simulated evidence found in the crime scene was provided to the students. Ballistics, fibres, question documents, hair, toxicology, blood, forensic anthropology, odontology, forensic photography, paint, tyre marks, footprints, cyber forensics and forensic psychology were few of the branches which were discussed.
