On August 20, 2024, the college observed Sadbhavana Diwas by administering the Sadbhavana Diwas pledge during a special assembly. The event was organized by the Sociology Economics Forum.
During the assembly, the Coordinator of the Sociology Economics Forum and the Dean of Administration, Dr. Kiran Prasad, addressed the students. Dr. Prasad explained the significance of Sadbhavana Diwas, which commemorates the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. He noted that the day promotes national integration, peace, and harmony among all Indians, regardless of their caste, region, religion, or language.
After the address, Dr. Prasad led the Sadbhavana Diwas pledge, which was taken by the students, faculty, and administrative staff. In the pledge, everyone committed to working towards the oneness and harmony of all people in India, and pledged to resolve differences through dialogue and constitutional means, without resorting to violence.
The observance of Sadbhavana Diwas at the college was an important event that reaffirmed the institution's commitment to the values of national unity, peace, and non-violence championed by Rajiv Gandhi.
