PSY Forum Events

The Department of Psychology (Psy Forum) organized a Variety Spectacle titled ‘Sound Mindscape’ on Tuesday, October 3rd 2023in the college auditorium. The event was open to all UG as well as PG students.

There was an astounding participation from 7 teams who performed a variety – open mic, skit, mime, dance, singing; all on the theme of “Sound mind”. The event began with Asst. Prof. Roshini Monica Goveas leading us through the spectacle as the compere. The judges were Ms Aysha Mehza (2017-2020 batch) and Ms Hebah Fathima (2019-2022 batch).

The spectacle began at 2:30 pm and ended at 4:30 pm with an overwhelming response. The audience of 150 Roshnites was rapt in attention and in sync with what was being portrayed. The Variety Spectacle proved to be exhilarating celebration of talent, bringing all students together captivating the audience with an eclectic mix of acts. It was a spectacular showcase of talent based on the theme of ‘Sound mind’ revolving around issues of depression, postpartum depression, anorexia nervosa, academic failures, influence of mobile overuse, influence of media (TV) and an interplay of emotions in one’s mind.

The results were declared by Dr. Sandra Sunitha Lobo, Head, Department of Psychology on 4th October 2023.
