Individual research papers were presented by 10 final year students of Rural Development during the conference on ‘Reform, Perform and Transform: Challenges and Opportunities in the fields of Science, Social Sciences, Management, Information Sciences, Law and Education’ organised by College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Srinivas University, Mangaluru on June 26, 2021. The conference started at 10 AM with a Formal Programme followed by the sessions which started at 11:00 am. Yadhu Krishna presented on ‘Impact of e-commerce on Local Business during the Pandemic’, Asha James on ‘Virtual Life taking over Social Life among Students- Pros and Cons’, Dilna K on the ‘Impact of Covid-19 on Travel and Tourism Industry in Kerala’, Geethanjali Thamban on ‘Role of Theyyam Folk Art in Promoting Tourism in North Kerala’, Josna Pereira on the topic ‘Impact of Primary Health Centre facilities among Rural Women’, Madhulika Bhansali on the topic ‘A Study on Vocal for Local: Paradigm Shift of Consumer Buying Behaviour towards Local produce’, Nash D’Souza on the ‘Impact of Covid-19 on Online Usage of Children’, Owin Lancy D’Souza on the ‘Study of Physical Fitness Maintenance among Youth during Pandemic’, Ramzeena EKV on the topic ‘Opinion of Youth on increasing the Minimum Legal Age of Girls for Marriage’ and Shirin AP on the topic ‘Perception, Attitude and Awareness of Youth on Environmental Sustainability’. All the participants were given 10 minutes to present their topics and received presentation certificates for the same. Students received good feedback from the moderators and organisers.
