School of social work Roshni Nilaya celebrated Students Day with the theme ' Smiling Faces' on the 25th April 2023.

Touching upon verses from the holy scriptures, the program commenced with deliverance a small prayer service in which she thanked the divine provider for all the rays of wisdom that have shined upon the college and illuminated the students.

The Vice Principal Dr. Jenis Mary welcomed the gathering with touching words of encouragement, shedding light on the strength and potential of all the students.

The energy that bloomed from her motherly motivation sparked on for the rest of the morning as games and fun activities took place between teachers and students, ultimately strengthening their bond.In addition to this there were also indoor group activities organized by students by the faculties that encouraged a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship.

After Lunch, meritorious students were felicitated with awards and certificates, in appreciation of their efforts and achievements. The cultural events were set off at 2;30 pm beginning with videos prepared by teachers encaptivating a high degree of comedic light-heartedness that revealed the fun side of the teachers to a great extent .Each class dazzled the stage with their much adored mesmerizing talents that consisted of energy packed dances and and hilarious memes curated and customized to a college life. There were moments punctuated with spot games that set about a healthy sportsman spirit between all the members of the college.

The college staff also grabbed the opportunity to perform for the students, surprising everyone in the process. Abandoning their roles as teachers for a good 10 minutes , they stepped into the shoes of their students, mimicking the little moments of happiness and fun they experience in an everyday classroom. The entire auditorium was lost in the medley of love dedicated by the ever loving teachers to their students as well as the dance that was highly applauded by every student.

The program ended on a much-spirited and joyous note as pictures were clicked, laughter was shared and memories of a day full of heartwarming bonding remained etched to the minds of students and teachers alike.
