On October 15, 2024, the Youth Red Cross Unit at the School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, was awarded the prestigious “Best Youth Red Cross Unit – 2023” in recognition of their outstanding youth development initiatives during the 2023 academic year. Additionally, Ms. Khathija Mehtha, a dedicated Youth Red Cross volunteer, received the “Best Volunteer Award” for her remarkable contributions to strengthening the YRC. The honors were presented by Prof. P. L. Dharma, Vice Chancellor of Mangalore University, at Ravindra Kalabhavana, University College, Mangalore.
