The graduation day for the batch of 2023-2024, short term special courses School of Social Work, RoshniNilaya was organised on 20th July, 2024.The Ceremony began at 2.20pm by invoking the blessings of the Almighty. The prayer was lead by Ms. Jinsa Joseph. The occasion was graced by Ms. Ratna Pinto-the chief guest for the event,Prof Vida Sequeira-President of the Institute of Social Service, Ms Emilia Diniz-guest of honour. The other dignitaries present were Dr Hilda, Principal Fr.Muller’s Medical College Hospital Allied Health Sciences,Col: Rajesh Holla, Mr Vishnu, Dr Vidya N. The loved one and the family members of the graduates also were present to witness this event.

Prof. EveleenBenis, Director of Short Term Special Courses, welcomed the gathering and presented the annual report for Academic year 2023-24, Followed by this the graduates were presented with the graduation certificate by the chief guest and guest of honour

The outgoing batch representatives shared their rejuvenating learning experiences they witnessed during their courses. They highlighted on their learning milestones and thanked the college, faculty and the classmates for making the learning a memorable one. The top scorers and the best outgoing students were awarded for their hard work and perseverance. The guest of honour, Ms. Emilia Diniz wished the graduates their best and also reminded them to genuine and honest in the work. The faculties shared their wonderful experience of imparting knowledge and skill to the outgoing batch. The faculty were honoured for their consistent support and contribution by Prof. Vida Sequeira. The alumni Dr Hilda and Col: Rajesh, Mr Vishnu shared their learning experience and how they apply what they learnt during the course and wished the graduates the best. Prof Vida Sequeira shared a few words of wisdom and congratulated the graduates. This was followed with the vote of thanks given by Prof Eveleen Benis. A total of 59 students graduated during this graduation ceremony.

The ceremony concluded with National Anthem followed by group photo and refreshments
