Faculty Achievements

Vice Principal Dr. Jenis Mary, Prof. Eveleen Benis, Assistant Professor, Ms. Veena B.K, and Ms. Anusuya Shenoy, Assistant Professors from School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya participated and presented a Paper in the 25th Asia – Pacific Joint Regional Social Work Conference on Social Work Partnerships towards an Equal Society-Asia Pacific Perspective at Bengaluru On 18th to 20th September 2019. Three hundred and Thirty eight presentations were been selected for presenting oral, poster and e-poster in this Conference. This year Conference at Bengaluru has attracted more than 1000 professional Social Work educators, practitioners, policymakers, research scholars and students from thirty countries in the Asia-Pacific region and from around the world. They participated, presented papers and shared their views on the Social work perspectives.

Following papers were presented by the respective faculty members:

1. Dr. Jenis Mary – Therapeutic Intervention in Building Human Strengths in Social Work.
2. Prof. Eveleen Benis – Community Engagement, research on Zero Waste Management and inclusive Society- Base line study on the waste management practices in Ullal CMC, Mangalore, Karnataka. 
3. MS. Anusuya Shenoy and MS. Veena B.K- A qualitative study on the significance of self- defense training among teenage girls.
