Vice Principal Dr. Jenis Mary, Prof. Eveleen Benis, Assistant Professor, Ms. Veena B.K, and Ms. Anusuya Shenoy, Assistant Professors from School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya participated and presented a Paper in the 25th Asia – Pacific Joint Regional Social Work Conference on Social Work Partnerships towards an Equal Society-Asia Pacific Perspective at Bengaluru On 18th to 20th September 2019. Three hundred and Thirty eight presentations were been selected for presenting oral, poster and e-poster in this Conference. This year Conference at Bengaluru has attracted more than 1000 professional Social Work educators, practitioners, policymakers, research scholars and students from thirty countries in the Asia-Pacific region and from around the world. They participated, presented papers and shared their views on the Social work perspectives.
Following papers were presented by the respective faculty members:
- Dr. Jenis Mary – Therapeutic Intervention in Building Human Strengths in Social Work.
- Prof. Eveleen Benis – Community Engagement, research on Zero Waste Management and inclusive Society- Base line study on the waste management practices in Ullal CMC, Mangalore, Karnataka.
- MS. Anusuya Shenoy and MS. Veena B.K- A qualitative study on the significance of self- defense training among teenage girls.
