Assistant Professor Ms. Rosa Nimmy Mathew, Head of the Department of M.Sc Counseling Conducted a session on “Adolescent Wellbeing” at St. Ann’s Educational Institution on 4th October 2019 wherein 200 B.Ed. students were addressed. The objective of the session was to enlighten teachers on Adolescent emotionality, causes, to educate them to effectively deal with adolescents as a parent and teachers both at home and school environment.
The students were trained to identify red flags among adolescents, initial skills to handle crisis in class and referral details too were given. The session was interactive with case discussion from counselling experience and stating research data.
