On account of Gandhi Jayanthi a Webinar on Women Empowerment and Sustainability was organised by Farm Science Centre (Krishi Vignan Kendra of Dakshina Kannada - KVKDK) on October 1, 2020 for women farmers and staff.
Ms Anuradha Shetty, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Rural Development, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya was the Resource Person for the same.
She addressed the women on becoming complete individuals by acquiring all necessary skills, knowlege and attitudes; to sustain themselves and to be independent.
