The Department of English at Kristu Jayanti College, Bangalore, hosted a national conference titled "Neocolonialism: Re-Presenting Narratives, Realities, and Responses" on 8th and 9th November 2024. Ms. Vineetha Maria Pereira, Head of the Department of English at School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, presented a paper titled "Kathleen Winter’s ‘Annabel’: A Psycho-Literary Spell." The paper was co-authored by Dr. Sandra Sunitha Lobo, Head of the Department of Psychology at the same institution. Notably, the paper has been selected for publication in the Francis & Taylor journal, highlighting its academic significance.
