Achievements

Three students from the Department of Rural Development presented their Research papers during the International Social Work Conference SPANDANA -Responding to Realities on the the theme Social response to Climate Change organized by MSW dept of Post Graduation Studies, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya on 23rd and 24th, January 2020. Ms. Vrinda Pareek presented on the topic AWARENESS ON PLASTIC POLLUTION AMONG THE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN MANGALORE CITY, Ms Swathi on AN ASSESSMENT ON THE ISSUES OF DRAINAGE SYSTEM FACED BY PUBLIC IN MANGALURU CITY and Ms Hensita Vandita D'Costa on STUDY ON GENERAL PUBLIC OPINION ON SCARCITY OF WATER AND WATER HARVESTING TECHNIQUES IN GURPURA - KAIKAMBA. All 3 research studies were guided and co-authored by Ms. Anuradha Shetty,.HOD &Asst professor of Rural Development Department.
