The Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science had organized a farewell Programme for the outgoing batch of 2021-2023 with the theme ‘FROZEN MEMORIES’ on 9th June 2023 at 10.00am in the Maria Paiva Hall of the college.
The first-year students of the Department began the programme with a prayer song. The programme also consisted of cultural events such as group songs and group dances. In between the cultural event activities were conducted for the second-year students where the students were divided into 5 teams and each team were provided with different activities. Later a series of videos were played that recollected the memorable moments of the outgoing students in the department.
Further, students expressed their views and learning experiences in the college campus, and shared their memorable days spent with teachers, juniors and non-teaching staff of the college. Dr. Saritha D’Souza, Head of the Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science spoke on the occasion wishing the students to fly in colours and to make the Alma matter proud. She along with other Faculties of the department Mr. Roshan D’Souza, Mr. Niketh P S, Mrs. Amritha Shetty handed over to the students personalized gifts as a token of appreciation. They also handed over the badges of the FAARM (Forensic Alumni Association Roshni, Mangaluru) to each student and felicitated them as alumni. The programme concluded with group photographs and dance at 1.30pm. Altogether, 39 students, 5 teaching and one non-teaching faculties of the college were present on this occasion.
