Forensis Forum Events

The Post Graduate Department of Criminology and Forensic Science, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Forensis Forum, organized GURUSMRITHI, a Teacher’s Day celebration, on 6th September 2024 at 3.00pm in Maria Paiva Hall. The program aimed at providing an opportunity to express gratitude, recognize the hard work, dedication of teachers, and strengthen the bond between teachers and students.

The program commenced at 3:00 PM, with the teachers being welcomed with gifts and escorted to their seats. The event began with a dance performance by second year students of MSc CFS Ms. Aparna S. Shetty and Ms. Adheena M. Further, a video was played which portrayed the importance of teachers. Additionally, games were organized for the teachers wherein faculties actively participated.

In continuation, a song composed by the department choir was sung and a dance was performed by the MSc CFS students which is dedicated to teachers. A video cherishing the moments with the teachers was also showcased. Towards the end of the event, mementos were presented to the teachers, and the program ended with cutting of cake.

The teachers expressed their gratitude and shared positive feedback regarding the program, making it a memorable occasion for both teachers and students. The programme concluded at 5:00 PM with a vote of thanks delivered by the first year students of MSc CFS Ms. Jayala vimcy and Ms. Prabhu Sai Soujanya, followed by a group photograph. A total of 26 students and 4 faculty members were present during the event. The program was compered by Ms. Fathima Farasath, and Ms. Shirlene Jewel Maben, second and first-year MSc CFS students respectively. Ms. Adheena M.,second year student of MSc CFS cum Media Coordinator of the department compiled the report.
