On September 13th, 2024, the Department of MSc Counselling at Roshni Nilaya's School of Social Work, Mangalore, organised an extension program at St. Rita's school, Jeppu, Mangalore.

A total number of 27 students of 2nd year MSc Counselling facilitated the session, which aimed to teach classroom etiquette and emphasise the importance of discipline and respect to around 162 participants from grades 6 and 7. The interactive session began with an icebreaker, followed by an introduction to the topic.

The students then engaged in activities like 'Discipline Masters' and 'Etiquette Sprint,' which tested their knowledge of discipline and good habits and taught them about good and bad behaviour. Additionally, techniques such as modeling and assertiveness were used to equip the participants with practical skills to demonstrate respect and discipline in the classroom. The session concluded with a summary and feedback from the students
