On 21, September 2024 FAMILY COSMOS FORUM organized “Alzheimer’s Day” program for 1st and 2nd year MPSW student under the guidance of Dr. Meena Monteiro PG studies and Mrs. Ramya B Asst. Professor Msw department. The programme began with a prayer song. The master of ceremony Ms. Lenisha Reema Pinto forum convener welcomed the gathering. This was followed by a presentation given by Ms. Melisa Saritha Miranda forum treasurer on the topic. “ Alzheimer” she educated the gathering about Alzheimer’s – meaning , introduction , early sign in Alzheimer, Prevalence in India, early on- set , late – onset , symptoms – early stage, middle stage, late stage and other common symptoms, Risk factors , cause, complications, prevention and treatment
