The Rural Exposure Camp, organized for the first-year MSW students of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya to BDSSS (Belagum Diocesan Social Service Society) in Dharwad, aimed to provide students with a practical understanding of rural and slum life, community dynamics, and the challenges faced by marginalised communities. The camp, held from January 21st to January 26th focused on participatory engagement with the villagers through the implementation of Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) tools.
This camp served as an enriching learning platform, where students had the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rural way of life while gaining hands-on experience in social work practices. Total 56 Students along with 3 Faculty actively participated in this experiential rural exposure camp with rich learning experience.
