The Student Council of Post Graduate 2024-2025 was inaugurated by the IQAC Officer, Prof. Dr. Saritha Dsouza and Dr Rosa Nimmy Mathew, Controller of Examination Prof. Cecelia Farida Goveas, Dean PG studies Dr Meena Monteiro, Dean Research Dr. Sebastian KV, Prof. Thani Anwar, Student Welfare Officer of MsC. Counselling, Prof Anuradha, Student Welfare Officer of MSW, Mr. Niketh, Student Welfare Officer of the M Sc Criminology and Forensic Science Department on the 7th of August 2024 at the college auditorium.

This auspicious event commenced with a prayer from the Criminology and Forensic Science Department choir followed by Ms. Cecilia Goveas warmly addressed the soon to be Student Council and the rest of the gathering. A great depth of wisdom was added to her inspiring words when she presented an anecdote that brought focus to some vital qualities often overlooked by a leader, such as patience and the ability to turn crisis into opportunities for growth.

Ms. Thani Anwar Student Welfare officer of M.Sc Counselling department spoke about the Significance of Council and it’s objectives.

Following this, Mr. Nikheth the Student Welfare Officer of the Criminology and Forensic Department read out the names of the Student Council as they took their place on the stage. To mark the importance of the responsibilities, a candle lit oath taking ceremony took place led by dean PG studies Dr Meena Monteiro. The newly elected PG Convener Ms Anushka Kunder assured those in attendance of the student council's dedication and determination to cater to the needs of everyone honestly and diligently.

Ms. Ronika, Lohith, the Family Cosmos Forum Convener proposed the vote of thanks, marking the conclusion of the event.
