International Women's Day was celebrated on March 8th 2019 in School of Social work,Roshni nilaya Mangaluru. Mr. Ananth Prabhu G cyber crime trainer, Karnataka Police academy, gave awareness about the different types of cyber crime against women and distributed the book titled "Beti ko bachao cyber crime se", authored by him and Vivek Shetty. The Co author of the book Mr. Vivek Shetty and Mr. Azfar Razack were present during the program. The students entertained the gathering with different activities and games.

On the occasion of International Women's Day Smt.Uma Prashant, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime and Traffic, Mangaluru city was felicitated on 8th March 2019 in the college for her commendable services in Manglauru City as a Woman Deputy Commissioner of Police with Commitment to prevention and control of crime and traffic related offences and her Valuable Collaborations with School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya.
