A Field Exposure Visit to the City Arms Reserve, situated at K.S. Rao Road was organised by the Department of Criminology to the students of III BA on the 12th of September 2019. Students were enlightened on the functions of the City Arms Reserve. Sub inspector, Mr. Rajendra explained the functions of the City Arms Reserve and expanded the array of knowledge for the students.  Students were exposed to the Armoury Unit where different weapons such as .303,7.62 mm self loading rifle,5.5 mm,AK 47 and multi purpose bionote,pistol and tear gas shells were shown. They were also informed about the mechanisms of these weapons.

Students were then  taken to the Anti-Sabotage Wing  where instruments which are used for identification and detection of explosives were demonstrated. Students also got the opportunity to visit  the  Dog Squad where the training of dogs was demonstrated and used for crime scene investigation,detection of explosives and narcotic cases.
