On the 8th of March 2023, 17 students of Roshni Nilaya visited Mangalore district prison. On occasion of international women’s day Leo club members coordinated with the District prison of Mangalore and organised a program with prof . Vineetha K as the guest speaker along with Ms. Sarik Ankitha, Dean student progression Roshni Nilaya.
The Leo club members contributed to some essential items for the women inmates. They were provided small hampers with sanitary napkins, toothpaste, soaps etc.
The students performed for the inmates and the inmates too exhibited their tremendous talents.
All the women police officers were honoured and the program came to an end where we offered all the inmates with refreshments.
