NSS (National Service Scheme) - Events

As an initiative of Poshan Abhiyaan , NSS Unit of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, organised a Nutritional Awareness Programme for the UG students of the College on Thursday,12th September 2019, at the Maria Paiva Hall.

Miss Anitha Laxmi P. , Dietician and Nutritionist ,Yenopaya Medical College , Derlakatte was the Resource Person for the programme. She addressed the students on issues like Malnutrition, Eating Disorders, Anaemia, Lack of Physical Activity, Obesity, Impact  of Fast Food and Aerated drinks and the importance of following a Balanced Diet.

The talk concluded  with a question answer session between the Speaker and the participants.
