World Alzheimer’s Day was observed on Saturday, 21st September 2024 under the collaborative efforts of the Department of Psychology and IQAC in the College Auditorium. The Morning Assembly revolved around observing the day led by II BA students. This was followed by a sensitive yet informative depiction of the day’s theme, uploaded on the college YouTube channel. There were two Competitions organized an e-Quiz and Photo caption competition based on the day observed.
The audience wore purple clothing to symbolize awareness, making a strong symbolic statement of the unrelenting support in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
There were 87 entries for the e-quiz and 36 emerged winners (scored 10 points).
The III BA group (22 members) won the Photo caption competition and the caption was “Memories may fade, but love and care never do.”
