On August 16 2024, the SAHAYOG Forum of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Department School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, organized an Extension Service Programme focused on Spiritual Preaching at Shree Venkataramana Hr Primary School in Kulai. The session, held at 9:30 AM, was led by Ms. Sneha, a Brahmkumari teacher. The purpose of a spiritual preaching session in school was to nurture children's moral development, teaching values like kindness and respect. It also helps them manage emotions, find inner peace, and foster a sense of community and respect for diversity, shaping them into responsible and compassionate individuals. The event was coordinated by Ms Haleema , Ms Kavitha l, Ms Anjana, Mr Sanketh , III BSW students, under the supervision of Field Supervisor Mrs. Deepika Sanil, Assistant Professor BSW Department at the School of Social WORK. A total of 29 students of the school participated in the program.
