On 11th October 2022 the Department Rural Development organized a session ‘Social Research’ at 2.30pm. The resource person Dr. Ramdas Pai former General Surgeon and a consultant of World Health Organization addressed the III B.A and I MSW students on Research methodology. 60students attended the session and gained knowledge on ‘Research’. The objective of the programme is to create an enthusiasm in the students to undertake research projects in the field of rural development. The gained knowledge on the objectives and application of research, what the simple techniques used to collect data from the field. application and relevance of research in the respective field. The participants were very active and interactive, sought clarity on the process of research.
