The annual retreat for BA and BSW students for the academic year 2019-2020 was organised on the 2nd and 3rd July 2019. The retreat was led by Mrs. Corrine Rasquinha, Brother Raghu and Mr. Sanjay Rodrigues.
On 2nd July, the students were enlightened on the history of Salvation by the references given about the parables – the Lost sheep, the Lost Coin and the Lost Son. Brother Raghu shared his testimony and this was followed by the Eucharistic celebration by Rev. Fr. Vijay Prabhu.
The noon session focused on the Sacrament of Reconciliation using a Power-Point presentation. Brother Raghu listed a few common sins which made the assembly reflect, introspect and understand the gravity of sin followed by a thorough preparation for a good confession.
Adoration and confession marked the morning session of 3rd July 2019. Satan’s meeting via a Power-Point highlighted the significance of giving and gifting our time to God.
The Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Kenneth Crasta.
In the noon session, Mr. Corrine gave her testimony. Brother Raghu pointed out the infamously famous personalities who mocked the word of God and the wrath they encountered. He offered scriptural verses on the punishments for mocking God. This was followed by the healing session.
Praise and worship, action songs and testimonies lifted the prayerful days of retreat.
