Youth Red Cross Events

Youth Red Cross volunteers of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya Ms. Grezal D’Souza II BSW, Ms Theresa J II BSW and Ms Kadija Hiba I BA volunteered in Covid War room at Mangalore City Corporation, Lalbagh, Mangaluru from 21 April 2021 to 2 May 2021 . They were trained by Covid War Room Officers to do the work in a systematic and effective way. Covid War room is a place to save human beings by giving awareness to break the chain of coronavirus. Its main focus is to give awareness on the Covid 19 pandemic by making phone calls to the Corona infected individuals in order to avoid its further spread to their family as well as in their neighborhood. The contact details were referred by the District Commissioner then by the State Health Department.YRC volunteers also maintained the record of the same.
