Youth Red Cross Events

Youth Red Cross unit, NSS unit, Department of Physical Education and IQAC of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangaluru in association with Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Blood Bank, Government Lady Goschen Hospital Mangaluru organised a Blood Donation Camp on Tuesday, 12 December 2023 at College Auditorium from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.

The programme started with a Prayer Song by NSS and YRC Volunteers. Ms. Afreen Kolachalil YRC volunteer welcomed the gathering. The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Mr. Praveen, District Coordinator, Blood Bank Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Dakshina Kannada District. On this occasion Prof. Eveleen Benis, Secretary, Institute of Social Service, Assoc. Prof.Vineetha K Registrar (Evaluation), Assoc.Prof. Cecilia Farida Goveas IQAC Coordinator, Mrs. Anusuya Kamath YRC Programme Officer, Mr. Obanatha NSS Programme Officer, Ms. Roshini Monica Goveas NSS Programme Officer, Mr. Sandeep Ullal, Physical Education Director and other Faculty members were present. Staff, students, parents, and members of the general public wholeheartedly engaged and contributed to the blood donation camp by generously donating 76 units of blood. The Master of the Ceremony was Ms. Afreen Kolachalil YRC volunteer.
