A programme was jointly organised by the district Ayush department, CMC Ullal, and School of Social Work, RoshniNilaya on 29th August 2020 to distribute homeopathic immunity booster tablets. These tablets were distributed among the elected representatives, school teachers, PouraKarmikas, CMC functionaries’ and high risk neighborhoods. Due care was taken and SOP for public meetings was followed while conducting the programme.
The representatives of the AbbakkaNagara Ward: 24 and SundaribhagSwachchathaSamithi, Mr. Vasurdeva Rao, 45 PK’s and staff of CMC, President of DK Primary TeachersAssociation Mr. KMK. Manjanady, Dr. Sahana of Ayush department of DK, Dr. Kashyap of FatherMuller’s Hospital along with the team of six interns, Professor EvelynBenis, School of Social Work, RoshniNilaya, Mr. Rayappa, KMAS, Commissioner, Ullal CMC and Mr. Kishore Attavar, Honorary Director, extension services, School of Social Work, RoshniNilaya participated in the programme.
Mr. Rajesh, Jr.Health Inspector, welcomed the gathering, Mr.Kishore Attavar, delivered the keynote address. Dr. Sahana, gave the overview of Ayush immunity booster medicine and also provided information on how to keep the immunity level high using low cost locally available organic kitchen items such as : use of hot water, turmeric and Kashaya. Dr. Kashyap and his team of interns demonstrated how to use face mask, maintaining of safe distance in public places and on Hand washing techniques. The methods used were simple but effective. The information on use of homeopathic tablets and dosage was shared by Dr.Sneha and Dr.Kashyap.

Homeopathic immunity booster tablets to cover 600 families were distributed in the programme. This included :
• 300HH of AbbakkaNagara, ward 24
• 93 functionaries of CMC staff including PK's
• 31 Elected representatives
• 370 School teachers (Govt&pvt)
The tablets were distributed and acknowledgement forms were distributed. The entire programme was co-ordinated by Ms. Yasmeen sultana, the Environment Engineer of CMC and Mr. Vasudeva Rao.
